In what will be a recurring theme all season long the American League Central will have another highly anticipated match-up with the Chicago White Sox visiting Cleveland. The Indians won a series in Chicago to open the season, scoring better then seven runs a game. The Indians then had home opening series snowed out against Seattle and had "home opener" and series moved to Milwaukee just to start playing baseball again. The fans of Cleveland will be genuinely excited to see live baseball and playing against a rival will only enhance situation. Among Fox Game of the Week broadcasts will be the middle game of the Los Angeles Angels at Boston series. The Angels have not faired well in Boston over the years and won a series in Beantown last July for the first time since before 2004. Finally, San Diego and the Dodgers are considered the class of the National League West and have another excellent series on the schedule. The Padres were 7-2 in 2006 at Dodger Stadium and will seek to build on fine record this season. The series finale will be the Sunday night featured contest on ESPN.
